Based on a true story... that was ever so slightly altered...

ESCAPING KEVIN'S BASEMENT is a first person survival horror game about an evil deity named Kevin who has abducted you on your way to work. Trapped in his basement of regrets, you know not of the identity of your kidnapper, or anything of your new surroundings. Regardless of these mysteries, there is only one priority at the forefront of your mind: getting out alive. But is that even possible??????

Experience

Kevin could be lurking around any corner... This game throws you into a highly immersive 3D environment with hyper-realistic graphics unlike anything you've ever seen, designed to make you feel like you truly are inside of Kevin's basement. Remember: stealth is your friend. Navigate the halls ahead with caution, and watch your steps; any one of them could be your last.

Be Diligent

This game is puzzle oriented, and rarely holds your hand. Drawing inspiration from Frictional Games' Amnesia, Escaping Kevin's Basement features physics-based puzzles that will encourage you to think outside the box, and increase your intelligence by over 300%!

Features

  • Roughly 90 minutes of gameplay
  • Intelligent AI-driven enemy.
  • Physics-based interaction: movable objects are useful in solving puzzles, but may also serve as a distraction.
  • Largely diverse gameplay and action mechanics.
  • Multiple methods of surviving attacks: stealth is encouraged, but it's not your only option.

Warning: This game contains strong language and moments of dark humor that may offend certain players.

Genuinely one of the Funniest Indie games I've ever played! The chases were Tense and Scary yet the Funny moments definitely helped! 10/10! Check out my series on it so far!

Episodes 1 & 2 are out now! Episode 3 will be Released on Easter aka... TODAY! 🥳

Gave it a lengthy Lets Play and yeah that was almost 3 hours long! Not 90 minutes! lmao. Had fun though, some puzzles/levels I'd assume exist that will halt some progress for some players not understanding what to do next but, I got most deaths and got to the end and had fun.

Really great humor, gameplay had really frustrating moments, but overall great game!

Took us about 3 hours, not 90 minutes.

This was a really fun game!

It reminds me of the games of Frictional Games.(Amnesia, Penumbra, SOMA)

keep it up! I love your game!

I'm glad you picked up on the inspiration from Frictional Games, their games have a large impact on my work. Thanks for giving my game a shot, I appreciate the feedback!

This game has fantastic graphics, weird character which add upon the game's personality and style. This is absolutely wonderful in every way because it shows that it was made with passion.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, I appreciate it!

That wasn't the end of the game by the way. In case you wanted to continue, there's a ladder in the room you opened with the crowbar which you have to take to the hole you fell through at the end.

I will surely get back on this game on a future video dude- I feel so embarrassed because it makes soo much sense.

Haha, no worries. It's not your typical game so I expected people to not pick up on certain things right away. Keep up the good content man!

This was really great game and i had lot fun playing this game well done keep it up!

It was Good And A Great Experience. Thanks
